Melancholia

Melancholia was created after spending time in hospital following a psychosis. Made in a phase of melancholy - a weight that found its permanent home. Melancholia exists in many shades - each colour a different phase, a different temperature of the same feeling.
Melancholia is a clarion for hope. Not at the end of personal travails - but inside them, every day. Every shade of melancholy has an ember of positivity - even within its deepest phases. You just have to look for it. And once you find it, grab on to it.
Of all shades in Melancholia Set of 4, the orange burns the brightest. So bright, it deserved a place of its own. The insistent reminder, on its own wall.
