Melancholia was created after spending time in hospital following a psychosis. Made in a phase of melancholy - a weight that found its permanent home.
Melancholia exists in many shades - each colour a different phase, a different temperature of the same feeling.
Melancholia is a clarion for hope. Not at the end of personal travails - but inside them, every day. Every shade of melancholy has an ember of positivity - even within its deepest phases. You just have to look for it. And once you find it, grab on to it.
