Crabsody in Blue

2022

Crabsody in Blue is a deeply personal exploration of identity, envy, and longing. Drawing on the idea of “vulva envy,” it reflects the intersex artist Rubine's complex relationship with their own body and the desire for what feels unattainable. Crabsody in Blue balances vulnerability with bold expression, transforming private emotions into a universal meditation on being different, looking for acceptance, and the search for wholeness.
